In the search for many ways to inspire ourselves, and others. We are always seeking a peaceful place to contemplate. Through this place we create, inside or out, we go there alone, seeking the serenity and gifts of knowledge to lead the way.
Many of us also create a safe passage into this safe place, the place for us to contemplate, for each other. One of these places I found out about is the Shinzen Friendship Garden in Fresno, CA.
A visit at the gardens brought much to think about, contemplate and encourage the spirit itself to make a peaceful place. From the peaceful place within, I was able to capture and enjoy bridges, water, waterfalls, many forms of plants, bonsai trees, and Koy fish.
Bridges

Bonsai Trees
Some of the bonsai trees has amazing, humbling stories. There was a tree that was at least 300 years old and one tree has survived WWII.
I hope you enjoyed these few images of such a larger emcompassment of serene involvement in culture and peace.
There will be more in the series available on my projects page and if you would like a print please just send a message to: info@halonnahhopekay.com
