Halloween is a Great Time

Halloween is a great time to explore sunsets. This added color and eerie moonlit nighttime photography are great ways to experiment and practice your skills. The time is perfect to see colors in the sky, overlay the images, and take amazing images of the moon.

Spooky Halloween Scene

  1. Set up your equipment just before sunset. It goes by fast, so you'll want to be ready to shoot.

  2. Get ready to shoot. Know the space you want to shoot, Practice.

  3. Shoot a few, you can overlay or create an HDR by overlaying them in Photoshop.

  4. Shoot the moon alone and then add it to your sunset. Or vice versa: Shoot the moon and add an eerie sunset.

  5. Add your cat's silhouette. I added some pumpkins I shot separately.(Optional)
